Mine is not that accurate either (also Fast)...It is way off my gps time...but at work we use secure id's(card or key fob type to access our computers), and they get ruined if left in the sun, so if it happens again with the new one, you may want to cover the meter with a rag or something. That may help if it continues to happen...or you can always get an analog one...Or a Trailtech...but thats alot of $$ if it gets baked by the sun too...
