They did cert the 2009 with a carb. That costs some money to do so if they had no intention of using one, they would of never gone to the expense. But it is now also certified as MFI which it really should of been all along, even at the initial release. A fuel gauge and a few other refinements would probably mean more to most than MFI for at this time, a carb can be more easily tuned by the average person.

If this ends up being a late release, I'd say they did an about face and changed their gameplan.
