While I agree that carbs are far easier to tune and keep running for us old schoolers, I do see the reasons what people covet the EFI even though I have mixed emotions. It adds another level of complexity thats not needed on an off road vehicle, adds more failure prone electronics, and adds a whole lot more stuff thats not trail fixable.

On the other hand, riders like me, that use their rides for hunting and trail riding, it is nice to be able to go out and turn the key and not have the machine spittering and sputtering till it warms up. When I get out of the tree stand in 0 degree weather, I don't want to be making a ruckus or stinking up the woods unnecessarily

The catalytic converter(s), should also make the exhaust quieter. Something that a lot of us would like if it can come without a power loss, but will also be easily removed for other applications.

I guess I'll hold final judgement on whether or not it leaves me stranded, as I am planning on purchasing the new EFI version. I'll be packing my favorite boots just in case.......

Will be interesting to see what other improvements have been made in a couple weeks.
