Teryx4 Review
So I have had my Teryx4 Blue EPS since January 13, 2012. Super excited about the purchase. Sold a 2009 Polaris Ranger 700 LE (running out of room with the kids getting bigger) and moved back to Kawasaki. Here is a break down of my experience thus far.
Positives - Excellent Handling, Sporty ride, Nice Smooth Power, Lots of Room, Rear Axles look very beefy, not sure about CV strength though.
Negatives - Drivetrain slack makes popping noise. I took it back to dealership to have them look at it for them to only tell me this is normal for the 750 engine and that it also does this on the Brute Force 750. Had a slight issue with the 4wd system. Got into some water (nothing crazy deep) and the 2wd/4wd electronic indicator started flashing back and forth (it was only the indication, no actual movement of the solenoid). I was able to make it stop by switching it into 4wd and then back out. Since then I have dielectriced greased all my connections and it has stopped.
One thing I do miss though is ground clearance as I had a 2" lift on my ranger and plan on doing the same with this one. Haven't read enough reviews though about kits other than the highlifter 2" and still not sure what size tires I would be able to fit with the lift kit. Any help on this would be appreciated.
So far have about 19 hours on the bike, 9 of which where spent in the Ouchita National Forest of Arkansas riding Wolfpen Gap and Le Fouche Mountain Trails. Bike handled incredible. Had 4 full size adults and 2 kids riding in the bike and it still crawled and had plenty of power. The skid plate did take a couple of hard hits and so did my new rims, but that is just the cost of having fun.
Will try and post some picks of our trip.
