Cool picture jumping the quad.
I had an FJ600 set up with race pipes, carbs and cams. Had to sell it. I was loosing way to many points for stunting/speeding. Its just to easy to grab some throttle and lift the front end or end up going way to fast with out even trying.
The quad was being winched out there. It was buried to the racks before it quit moving. Its amazing where a 600lb 750cc quad can go with big rubber (most of the time). Got myself in trouble because the trail had been easy and forgot to flip the switch, until it started digging down. Then it was too late, but still fun.
Is there much riding on the Big Island? I was there once as a kid, (long time ago) but was more interested in the ocean. Body surfing the waves and chasing little fish in the tidal pools at low tide. Sea-dooing into a waterfall would be very cool. There is a little bit of riding close to my place, but "good" riding is 3 hours drive to the foothills. Then there is 1000s of trails.
Edit- Picture of my trip to Boracay Island in the Phillipeans Jan. 2008. Closest thing they have to a UTV are these buggies. We rented them for $20 an hour. Typical poor running third world toys for tourists. Sure is fun to get out for a ride though. Last picture is from near the highest point on the island looking at the kite surfers below.
Pictures from two - 880 more to go.
