cage chassis help

well i have talked to a few people but with times being tight im not sure on the smartest move. do i wait until i have the 4-6k for a full chassis that is perfect or do i put a bolt on "race" cage n hope it does the job? when i first got my teryx i never thought i would be so excited at the idea of racing so i built it with a 4 seat xmf cage (very nice unit) as well as a nice soft top seat etc etc. i entertained the idea of selling this teryx as is and starting over but.... i guess i need to just hear from guys who have done it and learn from them. thanks guys

might as well go purpose built from the start even if that means selling and starting over, you can always play in a race car but not really race a play car.
