Wrench Cable Shifter

I was looking at a Teryx 4 today and noticed they changed form the shift linkage that the Teryx2 had to a new cable shifter. Anyone have any pics of how the new cable system mounts to the motor? I am thinking about adapting the new system to the Teryx2.

My parents just bought a teryx4 and I was wondering the same thing but I wanted to wait a few weeks before I tore it apart to see how it works.

Bad ass if someone could make an adapter kit...

Be even better if a vendor could make it out of Tungsten and Titanium with a Unobtanium cable so they could rape us willingly while we shell out a months salary for the diamond plated part and hope to get a free Tshirt with their name on it so we could advertise who raped us and wear it like a badge of honor to all our off road gatherings...

OK that last part was sarcasm...

Cable shift

I hate to tell you but it would take some seriousfab to make it work. The cable is really short, because the shifter and the shift shaft are both on the left side (drivers) and close together. I wanted to do this and looked I not it and decided to make my own.

I used a shifter cable from a Mule and made my own adapter but used the shifter that XMF sells. I have heard of a couple people with kits but could never find one complete so I did it myself. I'm super happy with it and happy that I made the effort. No more adjusting when something moves and causes the shifter to get out of alignment.

Post some pics of your setup, I have been looking for a cable shifter and have had the
Same problem as you. Lots of people claim to have a kit but nothing ever pans out, if there was a kit avalible I would most likely buy it. As I am sure I am going to spend far more building one for my self.
