right now i have a 11 teryx with msd and muzzy exhaust i was thinking of putting some different kind of air filter. do you need to have differant maps to do this? if so where can i get this done. i bought the msd second hand. what kind of air filter do you guys reccomend? will i see any improvements with a differant kind of air filter? also what about coils? are they much of a performance gain? if so what kind. also do you have to retune?

there are a lot of options when it comes to intake kits. i just did the fuelUtv intake kit with the EHS lid mod and works very well and stays fairly clean. you will notice a bit better power. you will probably need to adjust the maps for this since a lot more air will be coming in and could cause a lean condition. you could get the maps from most vendors.

what if you just buy a uni filter or something like that. would you have to have new maps? who is a good vender to get maps from. if anyone knows any of them how can i get a hold of them? i have tried e-mailing some of them but no one has returned my e-mails. i bought my msd second hand and i am having problems getting new maps.

if you just get the stock/oem replacement filter in the stock air box probably not. best bet would be get a filter kit. they come with a billet adapter and new filter and fit in the stock air box. as far as getting maps call the vendors don't email i have always had better luck this way, hunter works i have heard has good maps and service as well as benchmark performance.
