You can always take the stock radiator to a radiator shop and have it made into a triple pass, so the fluid stays in the radiator longer.

i was one of the first to post on this radiator mod. i had it done back when i had my 840 kit done by dasa racing (about 2 years now). i have an 08 and have absolutely zero cooling problems! i would do 2 things definitely. first, bigger radiator or mod into triple pass.... a close second is an impeller (there are multiple vendors on the site that sell both radiators and impellers. any local radiator shop should be able to do the triple pass modification for around $100). Those 2 items will help cool these beasts down quite a bit. That being said, i HIGHLY recommend an external oil cooler of some sort. These engines only hold roughly 2 quarts of oil. that is not a lot considering the high revs for extended periods of time that we put them through. I have an external fan cooled oil cooler with a remote full size auto oil filter. I have increased my total oil capacity to 4 quarts. My oil temps are always cool, and i don't have to do my oil changes as frequently as i used to. its a win win...
