I'm fairly confident it will be as advertised. I saw a teryx with this kit 2 years ago and it was very quick. Now he has redesigned cams which give even more performance. So it should be SWEET.

I don't even need any more power (I just cruise) but if there was a local shop that installed this 880, I'd have it just for bragging rights. Ray, got any shops on this side of the US that will stand behind their work?

Yes, Long Travel Industries in Cali are one of our dealers and REALLY know their stuff.

We already have our supercharger plenum done, it's actually way less critical in it's design then a plenum for a 1000 with FCR's.
We're almost there on the N/A plenum too.

Guy's, you should be setting your sites a little higher then just beating XP's and commanders, LOL
Had a call from a customer Friday that bought a kit a month or so ago. He had called around asking all the kit manufacturers what he needed to beat his buddies XP and they all told him it wasn't possible with just a kit. He bought and installed an 840 kit and no he couldn't keep up.
He then called us and I told him any of our kits will beat an XP so he ordered some parts from us, he just has a bolt together kit and running the stock plenum which holds you back a bit but he still has 2-3 lengths on the XP. Now he wants to make it 10-15, LOL
Had an E mail from another customer that was picking on XP's last weekend too.
If time permits this weekend, I'll get some video's of our 880 Teryx racing a Commander and an XP.

Good info Ray. For the T4 and 880 big bore kit do we also need the plenum like the T2? im looking at the 880 to install this winter in T4 once we have the mapping for it, or am i wrong and a bolt on 880 kit with muzzy and ecu will work without additional tuning?

I'm not sure on the T4, we haven't even started testing yet, we're still swamped with T2 stuff. Will probably be late, late summer or fall before we get into any amount of testing on the T4.
Thanks,
Ray

Anyone racing Raptors, Renegades, V's, etc ........?
Can the power offset the weight difference?

Your going to find out real soon, LOL as we have a plenum design that is working, just a little fine tuning to go.

It depends on if your talking stock or modded Rap's, Reny's and V's as the only one stock that is quick is the Reny.
To give you an idea, on the Dalton test track, a stock 1000 Renegade with clutching will run 5.8 sec in 300ft. It takes our old style race 800 at 138HP to run 5.8's in a Rex on the same track.

Climbing dunes, I would think it would take even more power.
I think digger said he was picking on some 450 quads with his 880 Rex in the dunes though.

Mine runs very strong against a stock 450. Only the modified ones pulled out in front of me in the dunes.

Also remember I have a four seat setup so I am on the heavy side.

update 880

mine runs great was just making sure everything was purfect before running it still have to do some tuning laps at el mariage dry lake bed with lap top but that will go fast and easy and a easy day of braking it in , it has many heat cycles in it and high rpm cam brake in time on it allready

I haven't seen any posted yet, that was the main reason we did the "best video contest" was to get some of the guys to post video's.

But yes, unless your tuned very poorly, even our std bore kits out run a 1000 Commander.
Here's a video of a stock commander 0- to 67 in 21 sec.

Here's a video of our 820 teryx with stock carbs, 0-70MPH in 9 sec

This one, in a BONE stock Teryx, tires and all (other then the engine, exhaust, CDI and clutching) on a real loose gravel track that we spun all the way down on. Still did 45MPH radar (52MPH speedo) in 200ft and 52MPH radar (60MPH speedo) in 300ft in 5.8 sec. Yes that's quicker and faster then 450R's, Reny 1000's and over 2 seconds quicker then a 1000 Commander on that track.
Same speed in 200ft that a stock (clutched) 1000 commander does in 400ft.
On our dirt test track, that same setup did 5.6 sec in 300ft and 58MPH radar (66-67MPH speedo) almost topend out in 300ft.
