air filter question

hello all ? is if I put an k&n style of filter inside the stock air filter box would I still have to rejet? in other words is the air flow regulated by the airbox intake holes enough that this would work?


I can fab a alum flair to mount to the air box side that will have the right size tube for a filter. I got the filter figured out I just don't want to get into rejeting right now

i have mine like that . no probs. yet... been this way for a while now.

good to know all input is good!!!! just the stock system sucks. had a service done but they did't use anyhing to seal foam to cage or cage to airbox and I found sand INSIDE intake.... did't get to carbs but don't want to chance it. i put stock back it for now useing grease as a sealant between foam and plastic
