Not sure how much bigger the alba on is then the stock one. I do know the 2009 teryx plenum is about twice the size of the 2008 plenum. I can also tell you we doubled the size of the 2009 plenum and tested that ....... WITH MINIMAL GAINS. I would go with the open filter that goes on top of the carbs. It will work better ............ I PROMISE ......... as long as you have some kinda velocity stack in there. We will have a complete bolt on kit for the 2009 that will make REAL HP very soon.

The alba box would work good if it had a 4 or 5 inch neck for the filter ..Open filter on top of the FCR carbs;I wish I had a filter that K & N sells off twin cyl snowmobile that will adapt to the FCR carbs

We will have a SIK setup VERY SOON, but not for FCR's sorry .... only for throttle bodies.

2.5 .... no way. 4 ... MAYBE. All depends. Dyno it with the filter on. Then dyno it with the filter off. See what the gains and losses are. We have spent about 2 days FULL DAYS on the dyno testing intakes. I would use the 6 inch one ..... then cut a hole in the console. Then make a custom shroud that goes over the filter sticking up. Would look great and get the HP you need. Thats if you have a 2008 and FCR ...... if you have a 2009 i woudl HOLD TIGHT and get our kit.

Or,after you cut a hole in the console and the air cleaner sticks up thru it, you can take a top rear console cover, face it forward, and install it like the rear. When cut properly, it looks factory, and creates an open air tunnel, covering the air cleaner

That would work too ....... We have our 2009 programmable fuel controller and programmable ignition DIALED IN now. So for the 2009 it will remove the speed limiter and raise the rev limiter .... A MUST HAVE for any 2009 wanting to do mods.
