Depend what your looking for and they type of Teriann you drive in... The first thing anybody should do is get the OD Plate and they go from there.

I'm pretty sure if you get the VFORCE JOHN mod, you dont need an OD Plate or any clutch kit.

What mods do you have done or plan on doing? If you are going to leave the car mostly stock then just get an over drive cover and call it good.

I have the kit and od plate and they work great, but I also will be going to a big bore in the future.

Ali baba has just the od plate with the same mods as you. He runs glamis all season and blythe in the summer. We have toped out at 60+ in the hard pack, without rodding the motor. Steve at Dasa knows what he is talking about and has done all the testing to back it up.

I think that a VFJ clutch is overkill for what you want to do and if you run around on the streets of havasu the OD plate is all you need.

i have a epi dunner kit and i run in glamis and parker,az all the time works great for me. i just took the eye of the needle trail just outside of havasu and had a blast. if you plan on doing more mods then stick with the vfj or dalton, od cap is a must with any kit. if you have acess to a machine shop then mill the cap yourself it's very easy.

Been talking to vfj from the sound of it, you buy the primary and secondary (in some cases) spring, and he messes with (my guess) sheave angle and cam weights and probably true's the clutch up better, best bang for the buck, waiting about 2-3 more weeks then sending it back east.
