help no 4wd

Out riding in the snow, (deep snow) had it in 4wd with the locker in, and all of the sudden, only one front tire spinning with the locker engaged. So the next thing I no, neither front tire is spinng, I can see the 4wd lever and locker lever on the front end engage, so I'm thinkin something in the front end itself. Is there clucthes in there that I fried??? Its something in the front case because, 1 both axles are ok, arm for the 4wd is engaging and so is the locker linkage and the d-shaht is turning.. Anyone have this problem??? I have heard there is a clutch basket in the front end with clutches and that it brakes... Like to no what it is before I take it to the shop, still under warranty..
Thanks for any help

There is a solenoid valve that actuates the front diff, could be that you got snow (water) and if failed or shorted.

There is also a vacuum pot hooked to a cable that pulls the lever. (My cables for my 4x4 actuator & my diff lock both now have moisture in them & are both froze solid.) Don't think that is your trouble, something else maybe. If you take the engine cover off, you can squeeze the vacuum pot and see if it is pulled in or not or frozen. I have had the vent line on the vacuum pot also plugged. Then the 4x4 didn't work. I'm going to look into putting just a lever or rod in some how to simplify things & pull out all that other stuff. Less stuff to fail. And there has to be some kind of clutch in the diff for the diff lock.Just tighten the slack up should fix that. Crow

Its not the lines or cables, all the arms on the diff engage when you flip the switch, or pull the lever. I dont think its an adjustment issue either. I thinkin I fried the clutchs in the diff housing, gonna check it out tomorrow when a pressure wash it...
