Default Hushpower exhaust

I have read ton of threads on exhaust questions and came upon this. There is no secret that Chase's bike sounds like a v8and it hauls ars. The claims are that Muzzys exhaust is the best for the engine. With the hushpower shorty running at around $110, why not run true duels with the hushpower rather than the muzzys and save $500 - $600?

Often duals make less power than a 2 into one or x (cross) style exhaust.
Chase did a great job creating two same length exhaust pipes into a single exhaust.

Try
custom exhaust

Yeah I've seen that one. His ride is a beast. It was just a thought. If muzzy is offering a duel setup, why not do the true duels.

Muzzy is a X (cross) pipe system, as people seem to like duals exhaust systems. 2 pipes cross over into 1 then out to 2 exhausts. Third picture in the link shows it going into one.

i'm still using the exhaust system i built and it still works and sounds great. the sound it makes gets a lot of attenion. the muzzy is quiet. been thinking about getting a muzzy myself. i would have to say save yourself the time and fab work and just buy the muzzy, it is most likely a much better system than the one i built! i only built mine cause nothing was available back then!

Thumbs up

Chase, That's very nice of you to say what you did about Muzzys vs the work of building a system like yours. If I weren't going to use my Teryx for hunting, I think I would try to duplicate the sound of yours. Of course mine being a 750 stocker it would never be the same anyway. That's one of the nicest sounding engines I've heard on or in anything!
