Default chery red exhaust

anyone else notice there exhaust getting red hot? went ridding at night and my bike and my dads bike's exhaust was red as could be just cruising at about 40. is the bike running lean? if i remove the spark arrestor will increasing flow help?

mine did it for awhile then it went away.take your baffle out

that was my project. i was concerned that it might be from running lean so i didnt pull it out yet. just pulled the rear plug and it seems rich enuff. wheres the best place to order a turn down for that exhaust minus the spark arrestor of course?

Axia Alloys makes some which can be bought at several vendors such as UTV crap.

It is completely normal and is NOT an indication that it is lean! The material that the exhaust is made from is stainless. This is a characteristic of stainless exhaust. There are countless ATVs and UTVs that also have stainless exhaust and also have the exhaust glow cherry red.

thanks a bunch i appreciate the info. as a side note, i just pulled my spark arrestor out and it made no noticable differance.
