i put a dalton orange/blue in last week, it dropped the shift rpm's down to 7000 and brought the engagement down to 2600. ordered a pair of 08 brute weights to try to get the shift up to about 7300-7400. everytime i've had a chance this last week to try and break 70mph its been raining around here. i am also going to be fitting a pair of 39mm FCR downdraft carbs to this thing, finally will be able to ditch the air box POS! should also improve mid and top end power nicely. i don't think breaking 70 is going to be a prob, could probably just have ditched the passenger and done it, but i would like to see 75mph.
i will try to get a couple more quick videos up soon.

I think you might be able to break 75mph with the 39mms and clutching set up right, assuming you are ported correctly too. I kind of thought the 840 monster and big cams would be starving a little with the stock 34s.

Can you post a picture of the intakes/new carb set up. If the Brute Weights don't work out maybe Helix (Dalton) has something for you.

Always like your videos as your build is my favorite to follow. I have got the big bowl of waiting for this one.

have already talked to Dale at Dalton and he is interesed to find out how a pair of the brute weights work. he is working on a clutch kit that will be adjustable externally, but has nothing available yet. we'll see what the carbs do, i am ordering them this week so it will be a bit before i have them mounted or figure out an intake, i won't be doing any port work til i am sure they work good. i'll get some video of it in the dirt, you will not beleive how brutally fast it is on hardpack, it's nuts.

I got the heads ready for the 39 or 41mm carbs and will have big valves in 2 month tested.

Why are you wanting to raise the shift point to 7300-7400? I thought the big bore kits make their power at a lower rpm?

Is there an airbox for those 39mm FCRs for mud racing?

I just got the motor for the Kawasaki/Dragonfire/Four Stroke Tech CORR racer yesterday and I will be building some kind of air box and new breather box for it.

If you can, please have a version set up for a big air snorkle, as the stock airbox opening is low for the water depth I run. The Highlifter guys will like that too.

What type of hp are you running in your 800cc CORR motor?

I will look at doing that when I build it. I take it you want it about the roof hieght.

I just got the motor yesterday so I need a little more time. I'm not a big fan of posting up numbers, percentages is a better way to understand what you get. Right now I can triple the stock power in the V-Twin Kawie motors.
