Next I'm doing a Dalton Clutch and OD Clutch cap and DASA pipes. We'll see what kind of MPH's I get then.
Maybe I should download that map, too.

Yeah! and while you're in there you should put that OD clutch cap on. It will drop your RPM's and give you a little more speed (2-4mph) Call me when you get into it. BTW's did you get my texts?

No worries. I'm home sick with the flu today. This sucks. Well Dragonfire has the OD cap for $36 right now. (pretty cheap) Although I think there is a core charge and then you get a refund in the end.

I havent noticed that on mine... but I have DASA pipes. Where are they glowing orange? Also searchthe forums, I have heard something about muzzys needing to have exhaust wraps on them and some muzzys coming apart from getting to hot.

They start to glow right where they exit the motor and I can see it glowing at the joints where the exhaust goes together. I cant see the rest of the pipe because I installed the exhaust wrap. I got a response from the vendor that sold me both items. He said that it is normal for stainless exhaust to glow orange and that there is nothing wrong. I ran it pretty hard this weekend in the snow and boiled the water. I have ran it harder than that stock and never boiled the water. Any thoughts are appreciated. Ive never had a fuel injected bike before so I am in the dark.

Check your gasket, where your pipes meet your header. If they are paper they can be blown. Order some copper ones. I just did. from CB motor sports part number 1882. They are 10 bucks for 4.

You might be running a little lean on your air/fuel ratio. It can cause overheating.
