Dry battery compartment

Does anyone have a good idea on how to keep my battery compartment dry when going thru water?

That would be a challenging task with all the wires that run into the compartment. Not to mention how open they are. If your concerned about water the easiest thing to do is add dieelectric grease to all the electrical connectors and then not worry so much about making the whole compartment water tight.

my only thought would be to buy a watertight box, remout all componenets in it, silicone all the opens for the wires. seems like a ton of work.

rubber grommets for the wire and rhino line the rest it would be pretty water tight not 100%.
