Oil Change

Am getting to do the first oil change on my 09 teryx. What brand and weight oil does most use. Should I use Synthetic or keep the same oil thats in it now? Any recs on oil filters or are all of them similar. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Bob S.

do a search and you'll get all the opinions and results

I wouldn't switch to synthetic until your at around 50 hours (no need to pay the premium to just dump the oil after little use).

Fiters are all over the plce, but good ones are OEM Kawi, NAPA Gold, WIX, K&N.

All AMSOIL Fluids, LSR +5 XTR Suspension (Elka Elites), Rigid RAD4 Cage; Dually & 10" Amber, BS Sand Seats, Rigid HID, Lots of UTV Inc,, Dynatec CDI, Hunterworks Carb Kit, DJ Safety Belts, Fuel Gauge, Quick Light 6" Fiber Whip (red), Rugged Intercom, Monster Edition Rims, Maxxis Cerros, Lowrance HDS-5, DFR Steering Rack & Yoshimura Exhaust, Heads ported/polish by Action Powersports in Chandler,AZ

lots of options and preferences. I run mobil 4t 10w40 in the engine and front diff. Mobilfluid 424 in the rear diff and for an engine oil filter the mobil one.

I switched to Amsoil synthetic...but since it's burning way more then reg oil so I may switch back. 13 bucks a quarts isn't cheap.
