Cooling questions

I have a 09 LE that's bone stock except for tires and wheels. The last time I rode everything worked flawlessy until I rinsed off some thick mud. Shortly thereafter my fan wouldn't come on, the relay was tripped. After resetting all was well. I was never in any water deep enough to come in contact with the relay nor did I spray it with the hose. My question is, has anyone installed any type of switch with 2 sets of contacts so as to allow stock method of operation for fan and also allow manual control? I am an electrician, and quite familiar with PLC controls and control wiring of all types. In addition Is anyone running Water Wetter or similar products? Thanks in advance!!

I wired mine to a switch that I manually turn on everytime I start the Teryx BUT I am going to switch over to a relay off the starter circuit just for safety sakes...there has been a couple of times I forgot to turn the fan on and it got hot...whoops...

I don't see why you couldn't wire the fan into a 12V SPST relay for a manual over ride...piece of cake...

And yes I use Water Wetter...mine runs about 190 all day long...but I also have a PWR kit so that will make a difference...
