Default clutch mods?

okay, I am new to CVT trannies. I got my Teryx yesterday, and I keep seeing threads on Clutch mods. On a CVT what consists of a clutch mod and what are the gains?

I purchased a clutch kit from dragon racing. I understand that if you put on some mods that the factory clutch springing cant handle. I am putting an air intake, CDI, jet kit, and dual exhaust. I was told I would need this clutch kit. Im no expert but this is what Im going to do. jeff

They machine the sheaves so the belt goes higher which allows more top speed. They usually do smoe work with the spring and weights. Now I'm no engine builder, but this is what I have been told.

you said it.
it depends on the stage of clutch kit you go with, they go from just weights to full on replacement .
