Teryx or Rhino?
I posted a similar thread over at RhinoForums. I am in the market for a SxS, and have narrowed it down to either a Rhino or a Teryx. Now, I realize that this is a Teryx forum, and that's cool.
I know with the Teryx being a "new" model, it hasnt been fully tested and tried yet, or has it?
I will be looking at either a 2008 Rhino (Red or Green) compared with a 2008 Teryx (standard model). I do realize the Teryx has more power, but is that the only thing going for it? Also, how's the aftermarket for the Teryx? I know its fairly well developed for the Rhino, and you can do a full-on 4-seat conversion for ~1200 dollars or so.
I was pricing out Teryx stuff the other day and it looked like most of it was more expensive than its Rhino counterpart. The price difference between the 2 is about $400 or so, with the Teryx coming in at $9499 OTD.
So which would you choose, and why? Thanks in advance!

I'm 6'1" 225lbs, the Teryx seems to have more room for me so that was my selling point. Not only that but sitting side by side the Teryx hands down looks so much better and this is coming from a die hard yammie man!

I am 6'0" and 235 so space is an issue. I think I'll go down to the local dealer on Tuesday and test em both out.

I will. I'll have the opportunity to see them side by side at the same dealership.

Take a close look at the frame and suspension on the rhino, teryx is very similar, only bigger and stronger. I'm really liking my new teryx. Couple of minor issues with heat coming from behind the seats with the windshield on, but thats easily fixed and adding some sound absorbing foam to the roof really helps keep the noise down.

Just wanted to let you all know, I chose the Teryx. Got a 2008 750 4x4 (base model) that I'll be picking up as soon as the docs come from my credit union. I got 9.75% interest which ain't too bad, IMO. Got it for $9600 OTD locally without having to drive out of town. It was within $100 of OTD's best price, so I'm happy. Can't wait to get it!
Now I hope it'll fit in my toy hauler!
