I just got a set of SDR lowered seat bases and tried to install them this evening. Everything was going well until I had to mount the base to the seat and the aftermarket bolts that are provided don't screw into the stock nut clips. It seems that the aftermarket bolt is a bigger thread. Any similar problems or suggestions? I have twisted stitch seats so I know they are supposed to work. Thanks for the help.

I had SDR bases as well and I used the bolts from the stock clips as I was still using those when I switched the stocker seats to the Beard seats.

I figure I'm just going to have to find nuts and washers to fit the aftermarket tapered bolts. After looking closer at it, the threads on the aftermarket bolts and closer together. So that's why I figure they aren't fitting in the stock clips. A little frustrating but I've got use to it with these things. Nothing ever seems to really fit right and you always end up having to tweak something. Oh well

Don't use the clips get some good nuts and bolts with grade 8 washers a lot stronger then those cheap clips
