Clutch smoke?

First thing I broke in the teryx...

Was loading after all day ride and forgot my ramps at the house, so I thought I would try to crawl up the back of the trailer... Not good!

I had it in low, 4wd and as I thought the front end was lifting I gassed it to try and pop the front end up in the trailer, instead it started smoking under my teryx. I quit right away, but now I have a rattle in the clutch area... what should I look at besides the belt?

Edit: As I was pulling the teryx off the trailer it was extremely jerky with a steady foot when I got home, don't know if this info would help..

I'm not sure why they do it but when the belt is shot the clutch makes noise (your rattle) and is not far from blowing up and shredding itself, just change the belt and it wil be all good. The jerky is due to the flatspot on the belt from when you smoked it. I speak from experience on this one, I have gone through a few belts.

Cool X2

Been threw many just change it and all will be fine. The more throttle u use the better the grip and longer the belt will last.
