With my check book... Hopefully he will be willing to deal. If not I guess my search will continue. After seeing what some of you are paying OTD there's no way I'm paying a dime over $10K OTD. Our local dealer is notorious for not coming off his price a cent. So it may be an interesting trip. The 2 next closest dealers dont have any 2 seaters at all.

I think I might just tell him look I've got a check w/ $9500 on it, do I put yalls name on it or drive to the next town?

Ya'll think thats a fair OTD price for a 2012 (2 seater) base model? Or should I haggle for lower?

Well he wouldnt budge past $10450 OTD.. I told him $10,000 OTD was my limit and that $9800 was really where I wanted to be. He said what they normally say "just cant sell them that cheap and stay in business."

So I got up and said well if you change your mind and want to let it go for $10,000 I'll write you a check today.

And turned to leave, and he let me walk out..

So, looks like I'll be.. hang on phone is ringing....

Seriously I was in the middle of typing and he called. New quote, $10,231.41 OTD is apparently the best they can do. "Meeting me in the middle."

Still going to call other dealers and get quotes.

Ok just found a 2011 Camo LE for $10,000 OTD..... so, I think I might go get it. I didnt really want camo cause well, it's a bit ugly. but.... I'm pretty sure there's black under there if I get tired of it.

I would really check around. Cost of shipping one of these things across country is only $500-800 so if you can save a grand or more and have it shipped you may be better off. Good luck

The problem is finding a base model 2 seater... I've called every dealer w/ in 3 hours of here and the only one that has one wants over 10 for it. And wont budge.

Even if I find one for $9500 OTD + $500 shipping thats still $10,000 and then I have to deal w/ all of it. And wouldnt get a top and half windshield.

Hey Polaris- not sure where you live, but just to give you another frame of reference, I bought my 2012 base model 3 months ago for $9549 out the door. I'm in Northern Utah and the dealer still has several 2 seaters.

Yeah it seems that people out west and on the east coast are able to get much better deals. Maybe dealer volume or something? But everyone around here in the south wants over $10 OTD.

I dunno seems like $10,000 OTD isnt a bad price for a 2011 LE. And its only 60 miles from here so, not that far if for some reason I need to have warrenty work done, I can just take it back to him. I'll have to ask if I can get it for $9800 once I pull out the check book and see what he says.

Ditto that here.. I paid $9250 out the door at Full Throttle Powersports, and when I drove by on Sunday, they had 4-5 base models as well as a couple LE's and 4-5 Teryx4's sitting outside of their building.



Trigger, if you can handle shipping (and can get it done for $500ish), my actual purchase price on my machine was $8550, so you'd be $9k into your machine plus whatever your local government charges for tax and license if you bought one here and had it shipped. I know those guys are shipping friendly too.

I disagree that 10k OTD isn't a bad price on an 11 LE. I can get a 12 for $9850 OTD. On an 11, I'd be working them hard on the price. Leftovers are supposed to sell for a significant savings, and ultimately, you'll be losing money on paying $10k for a 2011 leftover. If you think I'm wrong, go compare the NADA values of a 2009 and 2010 LE. In a couple years if/when you sell it, the year older model year will bite you unless it comes with a notable savings above the current model.

Well I wish ya'll would just come to Alabama and do some haggling then b/c the dealers here have let me just walk out the door w/ a check b/c they refuse to deal.

Plus I dont see how driving 6 hours to save $200 is a good deal? If you are getting one for $9800 OTD and Im paying $10,000 thats only a $200 difference. I'ts worth that $200 to me to not have to drive 6 hours to pick one up.

If ya'll are saying you can get 2012 LE's for $9850 OTD then please call that dealer and have them draw up a sales sheet for me and pdf it and I will take it to my dealer and lay it on his desk.
