Seems like southerners and the east coast call it a T-Rex, and the west coast calls it the Tear-ix.
I have also heard it called the "Turex" (charles barkley voice), and also the Teee-rix....

I think Kawi could have been a little more creative with the name.

Its Tear-ix people!!

I always pronounced it "tear-ix", however my 3 YO son once heard someone call it a t-rex, and he being a big dinosaur fan (think The Land Before Time movie), it is now called the sharptooth.

Shows you who's in charge at our house, right?

t-rex or Tear-ix I have heard both. I just wish my 5 year old son would stop calling it a RHINO

I agree, it's definitely "Tear-ex" - but i also call it a "Rhino-Eater" when explaining what it is to non-UTV folk.

Yeah, for marketing purposes it should have been called a T-Rex...You know "My T-rex ate your Rhino" kinda thing.. but the spelling/pronunciation is awful... just like the hood design! I mean who wants to remove the cage to get under the hood... there's not much under there of course, but c'mon!

[/rant]

Ok, I feel better.
