teryx in glamis

i have a bone stock 08 with 27" bighorns on 12" itp beadlocks aird down 6 in front 8 in rear . this thing go's everywhere in two wheel drive if you know what your doing ,not as much fun in 4 wheel drive because you don't get the drift action plus it's to easy to go everywhere. i pulled out a toyota truck year about mid 80's in 4 low with diff lock. there was a rhino there with stock tires & could not do crap. teryx got major props ,even by the guy in the rhino.

Had my teryx out in glamis halloween! Ran great very happy with it, I ran 2 wheel drive also, four wheel drive in the big bowls seemed to sink my front tires! I was just running big horns all the way around with 8 pounds in em! Saw 47 mph Down The sand drags, as I walked away from two rhinos!

Wow. You guys are getting good speeds. I was out there a couple of weeks ago running on big horns aired to about 5 ibs front and 6 rear and I was only able to get to about 45 mph via GPS. I hit 52 once on a slight decline. I am running all stock except dynatek non-programmable CDI and exhaust tip. Do you have much work done to yours?

Also, did any of you have overheating problems? I was duning in the big stuff when it was 105-110 outside and overheated a couple of times. It ran warm the whole weekend, usually 215-235. The fan seemed to be working fine.

I ran 47mph on the dash down the drags, I've got 27 inch big horns on 14s, I theoretically should be going faster than what the dash says with the bigger tires?? I'd love to see 60!!

I've found that the dash is reading around 4 mph faster than the GPS units. I have seen this on several different cars now, in the sand and on hard pack.
