OEM Soft top

For those of you with the soft top can you tell me how durable it is? I only plan to put it on when caught in the rain or if the sun gets too hot but I may also run into some low hanging branches in those conditions. How is your soft top holding up and how would you rate it's durability in terms of rubbing against branches?

It's durable. I don't expect my soft top to last forever, but it has endured far more punishment than I ever expected. My T4 sees tight wooded areas a lot. Constantly rubbing trees and hitting low branches. Just have to use some caution when approaching low branches and you shouldn't have any problems. One person can take it off in less than 30 seconds if you have in doubts. Based on what you're looking to do (only on for rain and hot sun) the soft top is the way to go.

Just ordered. I think I'll give it a shot. I really like the idea of being able to put on or take off quickly.

Put the top on this weekend and tested it out. When still it shields well from the rain. A little disappointed in the stitching and weight of the fabric. Also a little annoyed that the poles that came with it are way too long, especially the rear. Had to trim them to fit. It will serve it purpose for awhile and when it begins to wear I think I'm going to have it duplicated by the local here that makes custom boat tops and enclosures using sunbrella or a heavy canvas material.

12' Teryx4 EPS, PCV on the way!

OEM Soft top

The rods are supposed to be long. They tighten the top to prevent it from flapping in the wind. I didn't like the added height they caused, so I removed them and instead stretched elastic cargo nets over the cage to keep the top from sagging.
