Being south near Jackson, I like this part:

Creating a southern Michigan ORV area closer to local population centers.

If the money is spent on dust control and tail maintenance this would be justifieable , But the DNR does absoulutly nothing for our trails.

Michigan Raised ORV sticker prices

Trail maintenance? Nothing less fun than riding these raised gravel beds they are making our trails into in northern Wisconsin. Every water hole or soft spot is slowly filling with gravel. Not fun at all! These are off road vehicles! If I wanted a smooth packed trail I'd drive down the interstate. And yes the dust from the gravel is terrible. I just feel like these local places are missing out on business by not making towns/trails more atv/UTV friendly.

JMHO I find very strange with the ATV world is we will spend a thousand dollars to gain 2 horse power or put a cool gadgets on our ride but will cry foul if we are expected to pay $50 for a place to ride.

I am paying up here for each sled in the family $ 125 it is my opinion that this is a real bargain. This money now has built us a trail system that almost connects from coast to coast. Now this has taken close to 30 years to build but without this funding this would not have been possible. I can now go on a holiday for a month sleep in a hotel every night and travel by sled every day and never trailer. In order for organizations to make this possible it requires funding.

I really am new to the ATV scene but am very familiar with the area of recreational snowmobiling. In the snowmobile sport trails were never given they were earned. By this I mean great effort was put in dealing with and lobbying the different levels of Government involved. Regulations had to be developed to make trail system viable as well organization involved needed to demonstrate they had a structure in place to maintain those trail systems.

All of Ohio's public trails are graveled with a little whoopdedoo every 100 yards or so, I won't even ride on them, boooooooring!!!!! I like riding pvt and public land in Ky and Tn, fair prices and great riding!!! Ohio should learn from them. On the flip side, if the state can generate a little revenue from utv riding, they will probably expand their trail systems.

My registration sticker for a street legal bike was $140. I ride on BLM land. What is this ATV park thing? Yeah, no thanks to that. The most i would have to pay locally is $10 a day for a nat'l park pass iirc.

I think it's a bunch of bullshit.... The states broke so they will find ways to screw the people that live or visit there......

In california you pay 50.00 for 2years and depending on where you go you have to pay to ride the state does no maint, just looks to give you a ticket for whar ever they can find =more money then try to take your green sticker money and pay for state parks you are not allowed to have motorized vehicles in because the people/or lack of that use the park don't have to pay fee's
