Looks like fun right up until they hit each other.
Beware, you get to see his messed up leg.
"Went out for a ride at the Oregon Sand Dunes in Winchester Bay, Oregon.
Was having a great time until the accident. My Patella was shattered and
my femur was broken. Most of the tendons and ligaments were torn or
needed to be reattached and I have no cartilage left in the knee joint. I
do have a very expensive piece of metal in there though. Definately
goes down as the worst day in my life so far!"
i have always said polaris has no leg room your knees are right on the dash and if in an accident your screwed and this viedo proves my point wow too bad for him though
My buddy bought a wrecked XP900 4 that hit head on with a tree, the front frame is sectioned and held together with a piece of "U" stock just below the driver/passenger seat on the frame. The front frame has no structural support and buckles BADLY at this point!!! Usually the frame then bends up at this weak link as the front is buckled inward into the leg compartment. Very poor design IMO, but this way they can use the front clip on 2 seat and four seat configurations to save manufacturing cost :rm_thumbdown:
Dang!!! Brought back bad memories of my dirt bike accident; I had a compound fracture of my left Tib and Fib. Ouch Damn ouch!!! Hope you have a full recovery.
