I've been searching the web, looking for a rear window.
I want a nylon/plastic one, to help control dust. I'm a warm weather rider, so insulation isn't needed or wanted. The only one I found, includes a soft top. My LE came w/hardtop. I don't want to pay for what I don't need.
Would it be possible to get another brand to fit? (ie Razor, Can Am). If anybody has had any luck with this, please let me know.
I haven't tried it, but I've heard folks on here that have been able to retrofit a rear window from a T4 onto a T2. Also, a full windshield makes dust a problem. If you've got a folding windshield, try opening it to vent and it should cut down on the dust.
A friend of mine took his down to the local shop that makes awnings made of fabric and they also have a clear material and they made one for his that has quick release plastic buckles. He keeps it in a pvc tube and takes him about 3 minutes to put on and was about 90 bucks.
I have been told that some people are using the one for a T4 and making it work. They say it fits pretty good but has a gap at the top and is a little loose. J. Strong Industries does offer one for the 2014 T2. I have one ordered and waiting for it to come in. The pictures on their web site looked real good. I know that J. Strong makes very good products and I'm sure that this product will not disappoint. I purchased it from ATV Direct. They are a distributor for J. Strong.
Thanks to all that gave suggestions.
Checked out a razor, way too narrow. Might try a T4 rear window. My buddy is going to get one this year, and I'll see if it will work.
Thx again
Mike
