Redesigned Teryx for 2018

So the rumors are out there about a redesigned Teryx for 2018. Bigger engine, longer travel suspension, sport model, less noise and heat, etc. Now I've heard such rumors almost every year and have my doubts but this year may be different. The last two dealerships I've visited have been sold out of 2017 T4s. No local advertising either. I've heard new production of 2017s has ended and only previous dealers orders will be completed. This could suggest an early release of a new 2018 model. Does anyone else know anything about this? Any info leaks from kawasaki?

Usually someone posts something from the California emissions tests or approvals that indicates what might be coming for some models but I haven't seen that in a while.

I haven't seen the CARB reports yet either. They are an indicator of any engine changes that may be coming. The report will list the engine cc's. If it still says 783cc, I wouldn't expect any major changes for 2018.

I hope they make some changes by no means is the Teryx bad, it could use an update though.

I can clear up one thing, 2017 models are still rolling off the line 5 days a week, in the Heartland of America!

Dealers in my area have a surplus of 2017 teryx I suspect any changes or perceived changes in production volume are just an attempt to reduce hold over numbers production changes or not.

my dealer a month ago said they were allowed to make a last order of the 2017 and then no more... so either a change is coming or something else going on maybe just last order of 17' until the 18' get here?

I'd imagine that even with no change there comes a time when they stop using the 2017 stamp and start using 2018 stamps, so that might be the reason someone can't order any more 2017's. It sure would be nice though if they kept on making the normal teryx 800's and started a new line of sport sxs's.

Kawasaki won't change much, if anything, maybe a few more cc's. They need to get back in the game, the Teryx is a dinasour.

I can't believe there is still no information on the 2018 Teryx. Even if it's going to remain the same, tell us something!!!
