I drive mine all over but i live in AZ! You will need to call your local DMV to find out what you need to do!

you can try to register it as a medium speed vehicle.
search here under your state: http://www.dmv-department-of-motor-vehicles.com/

I just called my tax collector here and they said all I have to do is bring in my certificate of origin and a bill of sale, "o" and the rv has to have insurance before going there (anyone know who might insure our tyrex?)
Sounds to good to be true. I will attempt this next month, the reason being getting a new tag will cost me $225 puls taxes Im still very doubtful because my certificate says: this vehicle was not manufactuerd for use on public streets, roads or highways. Anyones certificate or titles say this? |

been there, I live in MI. Progessive is the only ins. that I could get. It is then registered as an assembled vehicle and a new vin is assinged to it. After of coarse getting a windsheild, mirrors. Turn signals, rear bumper, horn etc.

How did you get to register it as an assembled vehicle? Can you provide a step by step...If you would prefer you can pm me.
I really want to register this vehicle and pretty sure when it comes right down to it, that they would say no it cant be done... |

I went to my states, secratary of state web page, downloaded a form for the requirments to make a vehicle street legal. Meet all the requirmnets, had a police officer sign that they have been completed and sent them back to the state. They then do a original title search to verify no leins on the original vin number, if none they reassing a new vin number as an assembled vehicle and then it reads for road use. If it has a lein the original lein holder has to sign off on it and be placed on the new vin numbered title. Believe me it sounds easy, it has taken awhile and its not gonna happen fast, insurance wasnt easy to get, the only place was progressive and they did it cheaper then the rider I had it under on my house. Every state is different. Good luck

X2 on progressive, you can do it Online from the comfort of your home. Just barely over $100 a year (Includes aftermarket accessories). Mine has a VIN, something doesn't sound quite right that you have no VIN.
