Air box mods???? Anybody done anything?
I put a dynatek on and at altitude (9000+) it runs like crap . Missing, no topend, no acceleration. Get down under 9000ft. and it runs great. Is it not getting enough air or just not jetted right. If I rejet for that altitude is it going to effect me at 3500ft.? Has anybody drilled or cut their air box? HELP

I haven't done any mods on mine yet, but I've heard many guys say the Hunterworks carb kit works great for those situations like yours. It includes a jet kit & TPI valves for the air box. Maybe someone will chime in or you can contact Todd at Hunterworks.

5,500+ feet will affect your jetting.
Jetting and something like a Hunterworks TPI opening will help.

Must Jet
On any carburated vehicle with out electronic controls you will need to do some jetting for that kind of altitude change. With a billet filter adapter and a filter that flows better than stock you can remove the airbox lid for higher elevations and put it back on for lower elevations but it still will not be as optimum as proper jetting.
We have 2 options available.
A billet adapter that goes in the stock air box with many choices of filteration.
Or removing the air box all together. Which will require some jetting.
