Has anyone installed a digital fuel gauge yet? If so can it be done without removing the fuel tank maybe by using a none power drill to drill the sender unit hole.
Removing the tank is not that bad. Plus if your like me when I start cuting corners I f-up. The only sugestion I have is use a step drill bit and not a hole saw to drill the hole.

Its the same one they sell at black rhino and everything offroad. almost forgot you will have to cut the sender tube and recalibrate the sender but its not that hard.
bifflefan, does it seem to be pretty accurate? damn it looked like a pain to remove the tank. Just thought if the tank was full and used a none power hand drill that it work. But you are probably right about the screwing up part!
I just installed it on sunday but it worked when I filled it up. You could probably do it without removing the tank but whats the fun in that. I got somany good ideas when I could see what was happening under all that plastic.
