AZ Not Sure, need help

OK, I have a 09 with the stock battery....I have been driving it at least once a week but went to fire it up and nothing, no lights or sounds at all on the dash or from the rex?? Is the battery dead? I don't have a tester and have not been putting a charger on it? Shouldn't I get something when I go to crank it up? If you think its the batt-what should I replace it with? I have HIDs in the stock headlights but no other electrical mods ( all though I will in the future ) and should I always used a trickle charger and if yes what size or on what setting and everyday???? I am planning to purchase the MSD this week as well, anything to consider with this combination? Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a dead battery to me. Did you try to jump it? I have 4 hid's. I turn 2 off when im idling so i dont kill the stock battery. I also have one of the small battery tenders that i leave hooked up when im not riding.

This is probably one of the worst stock batteries I have seen in any toy I have had. Mine didn't last 3 months and I hardly run any electronics and routinely charge them with a conditioning charger. They are either just shitty batteries, not properly prepared and charged upon setup, or some combination thereof.

Nevertheless, if you want the same battery I believe that NAPA sells a similar battery for lawnmowers and maybe Wally World for less than $50 (someone listed the NAPA part # in another thread). The better option is to get an Odyssey PC 925 HD battery which will work well with electronics and has a lot more CCA, but is a little spendy. I got my last couple for around $160, but I think they have went up some now to over $170. However, I just found this from a site vendor.

Apex, what is the number on your battery? I'm in the same boat. It used to hold a charge for a month at a time but now after a week its completely dead.
Thanks
