Jim,

We've been away from the site for awhile and just checked in. Sorry to hear about your misfortune with the Teryx. What happened?

I saw the relief fund and will be making my contribution tomorrow. Hope all is well on your road to recovery.

Hey nice to see you guys again. Here is a link to the recap of what happened over the Teryx Presidents Day Ride...

But in a nutshell? A sandrail and I collided and he took my front end off. No one was hurt but the Teryx so now I am rebuilding it...

As of tonight...she's getting pretty thin now...

After talking to Brian at LTI, we decided to purchase a 2010 frame and see how things line up. Kawasaki has them in stock here in California and if we wanted a 09 frame they would have to ship it from Missouri or somewhere back east...and we would have to foot the bill on shipping...SOOOOO...guess we are going to a face lift. Brian has a set of front 2010 plastics he is getting me so now it's just tracking down parts and fabbing up some things to get it all to fit.

Stay tuned...

I'm sure you could but the price Brian is getting one for me would be less than trying to fix that frame...we would almost have to cut the whole front end off and start over...

Jim,

how difficult was it to remover the firewall/floorboard on the driver's side? Are there any tricks to get it around the pedals/ steering column easily?

Hmmmno tricks...just take lots of photos and start taking stuff apart...THAT's the easy part...getting it all back together? Wellll...that's another story...

And we did strip the old console down that I am going to send you...almost done...we have to sand it smooth and get it into the cycle...so give me a little more time...It's gonna look real nice when we are done...

As you can tell I have been a little distracted...
