I purchased my T_Rex about a month ago, I am very impressed with the style, ride, and performance.

I am looking at replacing the roll cage, as it is worthless and will not hold up to and endo

Yes, on the belts, I am looking to go with a new cage with 4 point belts, as well as a grab handle for the passenger to ensure arms stay inside, (just in-case) of another accident.

I just purchased a 09 and live close to Waynoka as well. We will all have to meet up and go ride one of these days. I will be in Montana that weekend or I would be interested in joining you and trying out the 09. Hope to meet up with you guys one of these days. Welcome LakeRat.

Thanks for the Welcome. I have been going to the dunes for the past 4 or 5 years. This kids all have their quads, I opted for a Mule two years ago, as I use it at the house, race tracks, etc....but it is just not cutting the fun like I wanted, so last month, I had small issue with the mule, and ended up driving to Enid and came back with the mule and the T-Rex. Now I am happy, well with the exception of the Roll Cage. I endo'd the dam thing that night and have not been back since. Heading out Friday after Thanksgiving, I will be a bit more carefull

I've been kicking around the idea of a after thanksgiving dune trip if its not but cold. I orderes wheels and an exhaust that i'm hoping will be in by the weekend. if I get my 4 seat cage finished up this weekend the possibility will be a lot greater.

r u building ur own cage or buyin one. i think im gonna build mine out of chrome moly tubing.

building my own. my buddy works at a weld/machine shop so fab work for him is no prob.

Well its good to know that there are some riding areas fairly local to Kansas. I have been spending ~6 months out of the year out here helping with the farm.

The other part is spent in socal, so im kind of spoiled with glamis, ocotillo wells, pismo etc... But anything will suffice!

On a trip out to some eastern colorado ground I drove by the Syracuse dunes, have any of you ever been out there?

I cant wait to get my teryx, as my ltr450 has been sold.

I'm from Kansas as well. Hutchinson to be exact. Been going to the dunes for over 30 years now......


Dune_Junkie who is that you know who can do some fab work etc for you? I'm thinking of changing my cage around, adding bars etc.

Here is my new ride... not a Teryx.... but a Rhino. Thought about a Teryx but found this Rhino instead.....

Hopefully going to the dunes this weekend if the weather holds out, least for a day trip.
