CA Ever been harassed by the USFS? If So We Need To Know!

In my county our Sheriff is fighting the USFS, particularly one certain Officer whom feels it is his God given right to harass LAW ABIDING CITIZENS.

Our Sheriff has had it and as of July 22, 2013 he is revoking their State of California powers.

He has had meetings with the USFS staff of which some acted as if they knew nothing although That is a LIE!

I support the Sheriff I voted for and his action in this issue,

Anyone who has ever been hassled unduly in El Dorado County should file a complaint to further back up his actions.

I found this on a 4x4 forum

Quote:
Anyone that has had issues with
Officer Ken Marcus of the USFS or any other USFS LEO that has acted
Unprofessionally or Otherwise!
Really needs to contact Mr. Scott Harris Regional Special Agent in Charge.

Mr. Scott Harris
Regional Special Agent in Charge
United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service
1323 Club Drive
Vallejo, Ca. 94592

707.562.8737

Also please send a copy to Sheriff D'Agostini - dagostinij@edso.org
If the incident that your reporting ONLY Happened in El Dorado County
**Otherwise the Sheriff of the county in which the incident happened**
__________________________________________________ ____________________

Mr Scott Harris needs to know of these violations as he said to Sheriff D'Agostini last

Wednesday June 26th When he eluded it was the first he ever heard of this. ** Which is

highly contested amongst citizens of El Dorado county suggesting Mr. Harris was aware

too.**

Loco I hope you files a complaint, that is the only way we are going to get a permanent solution, not sure how long the Sheriff will keep the MOU revoked.

Thanks

Yipeeee!!!!

5 days to go until the bad forest piggies are neutered...LOL

Our county has had it with ALL the BS, the board of supervisors for El Dorado County are also working on re-opening the ATV trails

Quote:
The Board of Supervisors requests that all routes or portions of routes found not to cross meadows, and those routes or portions of routes that cross meadows in compliance with Standard and Guideline #100 be immediately opened. The Final SEIS should be revised to exclude the proposed designation of yellow-legged frog habitat as a factor in the decision to close Forest Service routes. The revised Final SEIS should also take a hard look at the cumulative effects of route closures on other off-highway vehicle opportunities including the reasonably foreseeable environmental, economic and social consequences of displaced traffic. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss these issues with you and your staff directly.

Sincerely,
Ron Briggs, Chairman
Board of Supervisors
County of El Dorado
