Miller Canyon - 2N17x

Did a Miller Canyon run today with th Underground. Dave (klx450r) was there as well. I've been to Miller Canyon quite a bit, but I've never done trail 2N17x. We also did some side side routes today that I've never done and they were a lot of fun. I think 2N17x is a double black diamond trail and it was steep and fun. I have removed my KEBC and I could have used it on this trail because we were riding the brakes all the way down. About half way down I realized I was pushing the brake all the way to the floor and my Teryx was barely slowing down. I was losing my brakes and could hear a little metal to metal. I was able to pull up an embankment and stop and realized I had overheated my brakes and they needed a time out to cool down. After about 15 minutes the brakes were good to go again and we finished the trail. The only damage from the trail I received was from Dave clipping (small scratch ) the back of my cage as I was pulled over to the side and he was trying to squeeze by on the trail. No harm, no foul. A small group of us headed back to the staging area from here, while the others went out to Devil's hole. Always a good ride at Miller Canyon.

Just blurp the gas. The belt reengages and slows you down on the steep down hills.

i don't have a KEBC and my brakes are fine. LOL that was a fun ride. the second part of the ride to deep creek was really cool with a few deep water crossings which i had to take slow since i had just cut open the clutch cover but definitely need to get a teryx forum ride going.
