Turkey Bay OHV (Land Between the Lakes Kentucky)

Anybody planning on riding Turkey Bay OHV at the Land Between the Lakes area in Kentucky the weekend of June 3-4? We have to be down in that area and will have a few days free so thinking of bringing the Teryx down and spending a day riding. Never been a fan of riding alone so looking for anybody else that may be riding down there during that time.

If I wasn't leaving for a Arkansas a couple days after that I would come down. I really enjoy LBL . I will be getting everything loaded and ready that weekend for our trip.

Where would you recommend staying....no camping but an actual room, cottage, or whatever? Any place you can stay and be within riding distance of Turkey Bay?

You will have to unfortunately trailer out unless you have a camper or tent. We stay in Aurora just a few miles west across the lake. Small Town
Nothing fancy for sure but a few cabins, cottages etc to pick from. We stayed at Kentucky lake cotteges there. Not bad for 60$+/- a night for a single room cottage. It's no 5 star hotel by any means. But withen walking distance to Willow pond restaurant. The is also Fin and feather cabins/cottage, and the American or something like that. Great little dairy bar/ dilrive up called blue's and Kaylee's is next door to that for breakfast.

Thanks for the info. Still kinda' in the air as I haven't found anybody else that is planning on being down there and a little leery of trailriding by myself, especially in an unfamiliar area (been trailriding fullsize rigs for 20 years and have either pulled somebody or been pulled out of the woods several times!). Just hate to miss the opportunity to ride since we will be relatively close (compared to my home) and have some free time.

You would be okay riding by yourself just watch what trails you go on just stick to the yellow and orange numbered and lettered Trail

Or just do like I do and find another group to ride with. Most people are happy to add another rider in a group.
