Type 1 is a vw style cv and axle. We use the stock front and rear diff. This allows us to run disk brakes in the rear as well as bigger axles and CV's.
We should be ready to race for the next round of CORR

DragonFire Updates
Here are some additional images.
You can see the rear arms, all the shock towers, Steering components, custom headers and exhaust.
Should be testing at ET Tuesday and WED and to CORR For the Race.
It is getting close.

This is the car for 19k
As we get through CARB and Title, more information will become available.
There will be several accessories: Light Bars, Communication, Wheel and Tire Packages, exhaust and motor kits.
We will contiue to update this forum. It will be on display at the Sand Sport Show later this month.

I'm diggin it,looks like some really nice fabwork. What do you anticipate it wieghing, because it looks lite.
Also is the fuel cell going to be on the passenger side like the radiator?
I like the bumpsteer bracket on the steering rack too.
Only negative question i have is why Elkas, I would have went King coilpass shocks. AMERICAN MADE.

Elka has been working with us over the past few years, and spend a lot of time testing and developing the shocks around the car. Fox and King are great companies, but it is impossible for us to devlop a shock from each manufacture.
Weight should be under 1300
On the race vehicle fuel cell is on the right side of the car.
The two seat car it is behind the seats.
