Stock Teryx Spindles are fine, but for racing we need to have front steer spindles, a true buggy rack and steering dampener. We needed to move the arms as far forward as possible to get the maxium length out of the car, and this required us to make our own spindles and Buggy rack.
Pro AM helped with the Rack. We have also made a vw type 1 rear end with 4 wheel disk brakes. I will continue to post new images over the next few weeks.

Jimmy drives our RZR for Polairs Makita. We are just finishing a stroker kit for the RZR that will get it too 798 CC, and hopefully get him the power he needs to run up front.

Here are some additional images of the car. We are working to make this vehicle a production Side X Side that the consumer can purchase turn key. This vehicle will be CORR legal ready to race, or the ultimate toy to add to your collection, and will be sold through the Powersports dealer network or through DragonFire Direct. We are trying to have MSRP around 19k, equal to purchasing a new Side x Side, and adding long travel and bolt on performance. It can come with any of our Teryx motor packages depending on the application. I will post additional info as we get closer.
Also there will be a press release next week: Team Green Rider Larry Roeseler, 9 time Baja Champion will be driving for DragonFire Racing in the CORR series.

That's a great idea. A hybrid Teryx with a buggy rear end, a Herbst trophy truck front end and a v twin motorcycle engine with an auto tranny. Who would have ever imagined that 15 years ago. If it was race ready for 19k, from a reputable large company, that would be a deal. It's a good idea because, Right now a person has to buy a complete utv and then throw away 60% of the vehicle and then buy all the racing parts to replace the stock parts you threw away. That's alot of wasted money, by the time you are done, you have 25k into it and it probably won't even be close to what you are offering for 19k. A combination of proven buggy race parts that are available off the shelf with the teryx drivetrain could cut out alot of wasted money. Hopefully Kawasaki will let you buy just the drivetrain and the lower frame rails because that's about all you would really need from them. Kind of like a cl1 lite or trophy lite concept, except with a teryx drive train. How about a 4 seater along the same lines that you could use for fun, prerunning or an ocassional race? Maybe you could even stretch it 12 inches. You'd probably sell more of those than the two seaters. Just look at how many 20 thousand dollar 4 seat Rhinos are out there that will never be raced. I'm sure those guys would rather have your 4 seater for the same money after they do the math. I've got 14k in my 4 seat teryx and I haven't done any suspension or engine work yet. Your idea is great for a guy like me, I co drove and chased for a score 10 car team for 3 years, I always dreamed of owning a race car, but for 20k there aren't many good racecar options. Your car could be doable for me. Keep the info coming.

We are working out the final details, here are some options:
Three different motor packages: 750 (standard), 798 (CORR Leagal) and 840 Play motor
Type 1 rear end with Disk Brakes
2 seat Play Car
1 Seat Race Car (second seat is for CORR Rules) This car will be at the sand show.
Racing Exhaust (not the most pleasant sound for an all day ride)
Communication, Navigation and light Bars will not come standard.
All parts will be off the shelf Kawasaki or on the shelf DFR.
Hope this answers some questions.

What do you mean by Type 1 rear end? Is it a different differential? Corr requires stock rear diff thats why Im asking. I love the look of the car you are building! Cant wait to see it finished!
