Has anyone broken an axle yet?
Considering the "beefiness" of the Teryx axles, I cant imagine we're going to have many problems with these..........

I have beat the crap out of mine bouncing and spinning and gripping on slick rock (which is like sand paper) in moab. All this with a built motor and no problems yet! Im really impressed because my friends rzr's and rhino's have broke in the same places with less power and abuse. Im sure something will give eventually, but so far they have held awesome!

the axles aren't that much bigger in diameter.. the rear innner cv joints are a lot bigger, but the axle is still on the small side if you ask me.

The Gear One center board kits are in the final design/pre-tooling state. They will be out shortly. They have been making axles for some time for the long travel kits.

Axles
I broke one but it was the inner part that holds the balls in place.

I had to buy mine. my dealer told on me! I guess a cdi and muzzy exhaust classifies as modified so no warranty for me!

Just a question for you guys. Are all 4 cv shafts the same? My Teryx is at my work right now so i can't measure them. What is a replacement shaft worth? I'm thinking it might not be a bad idea to keep a spare handy.....

the fronts are different from the rears.. but left to right they are the same.. so in other words, you would need 1 spare front, and 1 spare rear, and you would be covered.

But the outer CV stub axle is smaller diameter than a rhino, and frankly, way under size considering the "beefiness" of the rest of the machine.
