The pics are my machine stock DI......with 2-inch spacers. The production protos are not on it. I'll have them in-hand in about 2-weeks. Completely made in USA. 3/4 shafts, progressive-rate springs, (which these machines need), IMO, both re-bound and comp. adjustable.
This is an up and coming company that is breaking into the UTV suspension market and so-far has great reviews. I stepped-up to help these guys because I believe shocks for what we ride do not have to cost 17 to 2-thousand dollars a set.....Regardless of the name.. The high-end sellers are selling their name. Us trail-guys are not doing Trophy-Truck gaps....

Very interested in pricing and results

Got the first proto set of shocks from BanditUTVSuspension tonight. Impressive is an understatement. Holy-Shock-Shaft! There appears to be 1-1/2 to 2-inches of lift built-in. Bye-Bye brackets! (Sorry my pics suck) I'll get more tomorrow. Adjustable rebound and compression, progressive-rate springs.

Why are you typing and not busy putting those on your machine and jumping curbs or something, good god man...

Dan...........I know....I e-mailed Ted the owner tonight about tracking and he replied "They were delivered to your doorstep today"........Opps forgot to look on the front-porch...And there they sat. I've been home since 4:00. Had no clue they were out there until 9 tonight...lol. Tomorrow we will get-it dun!

Are they still guessing these will be in the 1100$ range give or take ? And are they doing any for the 2008-2013 t2 machines? I know the fronts measure about the same eye to eye on the new machines as the older models but the newer style the rear is at least 2 inches longer than the older machines. Just curious. I know the newer stuff is where the bulk of aftermarket is going. But these I could fit in my budget alot better than 2000 or more dollars. There are still quite a few older style rigs out running the trails.

Lets hear it... :)
I know your not making us wait until next year for a report on these!!! :)

Dan the Pressure-man.....lol. Before I proceed. You guys with the 14+Foxes....Ever tried to semi-cycle your front suspension by pushing down on the front bumper? Don't move much does it??? 2-inches maybe? And I know, that's not much of a test, but it really is to some extent...I'll zip the lips at that....

I have the preload backed way off on mine and my 200pounds hardly moves the front bumper. So what happens with the new shocks? You didn't say anything!

Sounds really good, now get er done and lets hear the rest!!! ;). Did they change the ride height at all? I think I would have swapped the shocks on one side of the machine then checked the ride height on both sides, then done some slow cruising with obstacles to really feel the difference between the new side and old side.

If they come in at 1100, they are still $550 less than kings, but kings are really good, so we will have to see how these do.

O.k went for a short little ride today..............I'm still foaming at the mouth!!!! You know those tooth shattering driveline slack studder-bump noises you get over small rocks, roots, sticks and stuff, especially downhill.........GONE! Why? Because the shocks are actually working. I'm more than impressed at this point.

Any problems with bottoming? Did you do any tuning to the shocks?

#28 ·
None Dan, zero. And I went very modest on the settings. Just a click or two in on both rebound and compression and very little pre-load. Now I wasn't out hitting large doubles or whoops. But I have no doubt these are a price-comfortable game-changer. The difference in ride quality is nothing less than jaw-dropping. It's a totally different machine.
I now have the machine I knew it could be without 4ks worth of long-travel.

All in, lets see how long shipping to texas takes. :)

I went to their website and they are sold out. I can't seem to find many specs on the shocks. Are they actually increasing the wheel travel? And do they provide any lift? I Really like the idea of a smoother ride

#32 ·
They look to be the same length as the fox's, just better sprung for a smoother ride and the have the 3/4 inch shaft, should be tougher to destroy.
Guess I wasn't the only buyer... :) I already have shipping confirmation and ups already has my shocks... cool.

No built-in lift. I tried to talk Ted into a 2-inch longer shock with no luck. Maybe we will re-visit that subject at a later date. Not only are they sprung for a smoother ride, they are valved correctly also. And more adjust-ability. Congrats Dan!

Can these shocks be used with the HL Bracket lift? I really like the extra clearence I get from my lift. I tend to need it on the trails I ride. I guess I'm to lazy to get out and move the logs. I just drive over them. I hope they reconsider the +2" shocks.

#34 ·
Thanks ride, they have the different shocks listed with the spring rates, the ones for the commander look longer. Might be an option, if you could get the lengths from bandit that would certainly help.

#35 ·
how would these work with a mid travel kit? im sure the springs would have to be changed

#36 ·
They wouldn't give you any more travel but the would still give a smooth ride. There isn't a mid travel kit for the Teryx these shocks fit, that I know of.
