Ball Joints

Couple questions here:

First, who has the best pricing on OEM balljoints? Ron Ayers has them at $53.82 a piece (not including nut or snap ring). If anyone is aware of better deal, perhaps from a forum sponsor , I'm all ears.

Second, are there any more affordable QUALITY alternatives? (I know those two qualities don't often go together). Perhaps moose, quadboss, EPI, etc.???

Reasoning:
I'm doing arms in the near future and my stock ball joints have 500 miles on them. I'm sure they are fine, except for the one with the torn boot that would need replaced anyway, but that's not the point. Would rather just install new and be done with it; leave the old ones in the stock arms. (Have GP bushings ready to go.)

Thanks,

Lol, good input here.

No worries, I found a good deal on OEM joints through a dealer.

get if figured out? are you running a lift, what size tires. i have pitbull 8 ply heavy but only 26.5" tires (got 3800 miles out of oem tires) and get about 4000 miles out of the ball joints, at 10,000 miles now on my t4. ( changed all ball joints 2 times now) i ride mixed stuff, hard and some slow all off road no blacktop . reason why i ask if you have a lift is this, with a 2" lift i have hl2". the angle of knuckle on the upper ball joints causes the ball joint boot to rub when steering is turned, slowly it tears boot. i ground down the metal surface last time i did ball joints, think it fixed it. just fyi
and i only use oem joints

Yep, I found a good deal on OEM joints. I run 28" roctanes currently; no lift. My balljoints are fine, but I'm changing the A-Arms soon, and rather than press them out and then into the new arms I wanted to just start with new. Your right though, OEM parts for this rig are often better than aftermarket; balljoints, bearings, belts, etc. Kawasaki did a few things right!
