Looks like catvos is using some sort of spacers on top of the springs to lift the vehicle. I would be worried that the ride quality would suffer being per loaded like that. At least with the 2" bracket kit your not preloading the shocks. Not to mention that cv angle looks scary.

A spacer on top the shock doesn't preload it any more, it just moves the bolt location! It does the same thing as a 2" bracket lift.

Agreed. It's the exact same thing, you're just getting new lower A-arms with the bracket kit that gives you that much more clearance.

I may be wrong but it looks to me like the spacer is between the spring and the adjustment nuts at the top. I've jacked the t4 up a few times and it already sits close to full jounce, especially in the front so I think it definenitly preloads the coil springs. I haven't seen catvos close up but this is what it looks like in some of the pics.

Not sure which one you're looking at, all the pics I see in the rear you can clearly see the bracket at the top of the shock, just like all bracket lifts.

Now that being said, I'm sure CATVOS has a spacer style lift for them as well, like the gorilla one's. Which, as far as I'm concerned are a waste of money.

Yeah, it's hard to tell for sure in the pics. I'm trying to decide on what to do with mine. I like to do a little rock crawling and wouldn't mind some more clearance. Was thinking 2" lift, wheel spacers and some 27.5" pitbulls. Maybe a bed lift too.

Looked at their photos for the catvos lift again and there is definitely coil spacers being used.

Hey guys. I finally got around to taking pictures of the teryx4 qih the Highlifter 2" lift installed. The lift works great and was pretty easy to install. My teryx4 has 23 hours and 263 miles on it. I have been having a blast with it and not not regretted trading in my teryx sport limited in on this BEAST! Thanks again

Danny

Looks great! Are those 28x10x15's? Does it look like there is more stress on the axles?

No more stress on the axels that I know of. It basically just moved them bottom shock mounts. Yes those are 28X10X15 tires on 15" wheels. The teryx4 rides the same as it did before, but just sits up A LOT higher.

That thing looks goooood! Have you had the rims and tires since new? Just curious, I was thinking about the same combo, but wasn't sure how it would affect performance.
