Kawasaki Headlight Guards

Has anyone installed these on their T4 yet? They came in last night, but it doesn't look very easy to install. Where you are supposed to drill the holes to secure them, there is stuff you will hit. It looks like they headlight mounting brackets are right where you need the hole to be drilled. It's hard to explain, I'll try to take pictures. The tail light guards look good, and they went on fairly easy.

Here is the back of the hood,

the spot where the headlight mounts to the hood is right where you need to drill to mount the guard.

Anyone have these yet?

I just held em up where they looked like they should go and drilled em, had to trim the little rubber ends off of the nuts to get them in place, took long needle nose pliers.
They could have done a better job drawing these up for sure.

MorganA, could you post some close up pictures? How close to the hood are your guards? Are they touching? Mine are 1/2" away from the hood, and I don't know it they should be like that. I'm either going to get some 1/2" foam tape and mount it onto the back of the guard, or rivet them on to the hood.
