Wally's Bed LIft

Does anyone have photo's of the interior behind seats, etc of a T4 with Wallys bed lift installed? I like the looks of it from the side but I am curious on the fit and finish of the interior behind the seats once it is installed. Does it come with a filler panel to cover the gap behind the seats? Thanks.

We just got the Brackets for our T4 from Wally. It doesn't come with anything to for the panel behind the seats. Just three brackets that raise the bed. We're going to put ours on this weekend so I will try and post a few pics for you.

Where can you buy these kits at? I googled it and couldn't find it.

I should have shot some pics of mine, but didn't think about it. We cut the stock plastic half way down, and made up some panels to fill the gap. It definitely takes some fab work to make it look right.

We would like to sell them, but are waiting to see what they do with the panel first. It really isn't appropriate for the garage mechanic, DIYer as it is right now, at least not to the level of fit and finish that we expect on our builds.

But the brackets themselves are really nicely done, and very sturdy.

So are people really hitting their bed with long travel kits? I see pics of Funco airing out their T4 with no bed lift, LTI running without a bed lift, is there something I am not seeing that requires this add on?

Depends on tire size, but yes. The bed lift really makes the T4 look alot better too IMO, evens out the wheel wells.

It was designed more as a style thing to even out the look of the T4.

That's exactly what I was thinking, it needs to be a kit that makes it all look like it is factory. I don't have a problem fabricating a panel but it would be nice if someone formed one and just sold a plastic filler piece that screws right in. Now that their is a gap in the plastic does it make it louder and I assume more dust comes in from behind the rear seats as well?

I think a cheaper and easier way to fix some of the problem (depending on tire size) at least for looks, is for someone like Full Bore to make a fender that is higher than the factory. The guys running 30" tires and long travel will probably need more but for 26-27" tires that could be the way to go.

I don't have any closeups of the brackets, but this is my T4 with Wally Bed lift.

There were two long-travel machines at ROTR with destroyed stock-location beds/fenders...the up-travel increases a lot with the kits.

The LTI kit does not get into the fenders with 26" tires. A larger tire might get into the fender and full bottom......I will let you know after this weekend. I just install the new Moappa 28x14's and removed my bed lift. My cage was built before I got the bed lift and it doesn't fit

I will find out soon, Long travel goes on this week, tied into stock bed location with my cage unless I wanna remove the bed storage box, which I am still deciding if I like, If I could do a 1/2 box I would. The quality of the box kind of sucks after a few trips to the desert.
If I could make the stock bed edges higher to keep gear in I might dump the box.

We are now carrying the bed lift at SXS Performance. We have one on our Teryx, and it looks great. You can go to our web site or contact us for more information. Link to our site, Home :: Side By Side and UTV Parts Warehouse - SXSPerformance.com.
